Spring Loaded Stays

The Spring stays are designed to aid the opening of a heavy lid or panel, these are designed so when applied to a heavy lid the spring inside them will activate when the lid is started to open and it will aid you in opening the lid with ease. These stays also have maximum torque loads with an equation to work out the maximum toque of the lid displayed. It is worth while working out the maximum torque required for your specific lid so that the spring stay does not open the lid too quickly if the lid is too light for it, or if the lid is too heavy the spring hinge will not be able to open the lid or assist with the opening of the lid.
