Index lungers are mechanical components which help to position, locate and lock parts into place. They work via a spring-loaded plunger mechanism. The Index Plunger is released by simply pressing a button.
Wixroyd Index Plungers are available in steel and stainless steel, and with a huge range of variations with respect to handle configuration, mounting options, thread type and so on.

F1 The force required in Newtons (N) to over come the static strength of the spring and achieve initial movement of the plunger's ball or pin.
F2Â The force required in Newtons (N) to fully compress the spring and to depress the ball or pin fully against the plunger's body.
