Ductile iron. Powder coated paint resists flaking and peeling. 80000 psi ductile iron body with increased nickel content for improved corrosion resistance.
Technical Notes
Hardened vice base and jaw plates. Sealed and lubricated needle roller thrust bearing for maximum life and minimum torque.
Up to 12000lbs. (53379N) of clamping force. Repeatability within 0,001" (0,025mm). Outside rails of body are machined within 0,0005" (0,013mm) square to jaw. Bed height matched to size 3.310" ±0,0005" (84,07mm ±0,013mm). Footprint and distance from the keyway to stationary jaw meets industry standard.
